AmaZulu have decided to keep their charming Frenchman in-house for a bit longer! Romain “Fohloza” Folz, the man who took over from Brandon Truter, has landed himself a sweet new deal that’ll keep him in the Usuthu dugout for the next three years.
Despite only mustering three wins in his first 13 games in charge, the AmaZulu bigwigs clearly saw something special in Fohloza, and they’ve gone ahead and given him the keys to their project until 2026.
When asked to comment, President Sandile Zungu had this to say: “We’re not just looking to make up the numbers in this league – we’ve got big dreams for AmaZulu. And we’re confident that Fohloza understands our vision for 2032 and beyond. In fact, we’re so confident that we’re aiming for a Top 4 finish and a spot in one of the CAF competitions under his guidance.”
So, there you have it, folks. The AmaZulu faithful can rest easy knowing that their beloved team is in good hands with Fohloza at the helm. Let’s see what kind of magic he can weave on the pitch in the years to come!
